Living the Dream / by Heather Neary

Dear friends,

A very wise teacher once told me, " No matter what, never loose your sense of awe in the magic of this world." I must say that the awe I am feeling about the purpose of connecting with the experience of 'The Dream' in honoring this Solstice is quite profound. This unfolding began about two moons ago when I realized that the Dreamspell 13 moon calendar signature of June 21st is that of Carl Jung's Dreamspell archetype. Something to note is that in the 13 Moon calendar, the signatures are consistently cycling through the 260 archetypes, thus they are on different Gregorian calendar dates each year. Therefore, this is a rare and fortunate time to 'tune in' to the power of the unconscious Self in alignment with the Solstice energies of the cardinal water sign of Cancer under the guise of the master himself, Carl Jung. Guidance as to how this concept could be supported through creative expression came flooding in and the celebration began blossoming. When I was in New York over the Gemini New Moon, a dear Sister took me to her favorite book shop in SoHo and I felt immediately drawn to the psychology section (which is a rare thing for me!) and there directly in front of me was the book, "Jung The Mystic: Te Esoteric Dimensions of Carl Jung's Life and Teachings" by Gary Lachman. I felt a bolt of lightening energy like I do when I experience synchronicity in action. I opened up the cover page to find a quote from The Gospel of Thomas, "If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you." As some of you know, The Book of Thomas is a Gnostic gospel and is filled with the mystical teachings of Jesus the Christed One. This is a book that resonates deeply with me and it is no secret that I am a bit partial to the experience of gnosis! Reading this book has been truly incredible and a testament to how spiritual a being Jung truly was. I feel gratitude and anticipation in guiding and participating in this journey through the sacred energy of the dream!

In One Love,

Heather
